Daniel joined Momenta in his final year of school and began exploring his passion for technology and design. Through coaching and the Discovery Programme, he has turned that passion into something meaningful; developing his own wellbeing app, Koi: Daily Progress.
Built from the ground up, Koi is designed to help people build positive habits, set goals, and create momentum in everyday life. Daniel’s journey reflects the power of curiosity, persistence, and focusing on progress over perfection.

Amy’s Story: Growing Confidence and Finding Connection
Amy joined Momenta in 2022 and has steadily built her confidence, skills, and sense of connection through coaching and programme participation.
What began as a journey to step outside her comfort zone has led to Amy becoming a valued volunteer at Waipuna Hospice, where she contributes to the team and takes pride in her role.
Through her experiences, Amy has grown in confidence, strengthened her communication skills, and started working towards her goal of gaining part-time employment. Her journey reflects the power of support, belief, and taking steps toward a more independent and fulfilling future.

Nicky joined Momenta in 2022 and, through the Discovery Programme, began exploring what a meaningful life looks like for her.
With the support of coaching, Nicky has grown in confidence, developed new ways to manage her emotions, and set clear goals for her future. She is now building community connections through volunteering as she works towards part-time employment.

Brayden began volunteering as a quiet and reserved young person, unsure of what he could offer. Over time, he has grown into a proactive and valued member of the Waipuna Hospice team, taking initiative and contributing to maintaining the grounds.
