From the 1970s, when it had its genesis in the modest aspirations of a handful of community-minded Rotarians, it has grown into a substantial service provider with an ambitious business enterprise arm.

Momenta has three key goals:

• to assist our clients in the important work of creating lives they value
• to create and generate business with a social conscious so we have the financial stability to choose to focus our work where we see the most need
• to use our influence to advocate for change in the systems and societal attitudes that continue to hold back people living with disadvantage

In 2020, Avalon became Momenta and moved to a new home within the social sector hub at The Kollective.
