On 10 April 2025, we celebrated the official opening of our new space at 17 Grey Street. The event began with a special blessing from our kaumātua, Tāmati Tata, who is mana whenua of this rohe (area). We were grateful for his presence and the meaning it brought to grounding our new space. Following the blessing, our Board Chair, Sam Fellows, Advisory Board Member, Angus Bates, and Chief Executive, Shelley Blakey, shared a few words. Tukara Matthews then guided our guests through the space, sharing stories and explaining the cultural artwork he designed to honor Momenta's work, values, and history.
